| Vac-U-Max Model 1020 Solves Green Sand Cleaning Problem |
Saudi Cast in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, produces nearly 900 metric tons of gray iron, ductile iron, bronze, and aluminum castings every month. This leaves an excessive amount of spilled green foundry sand to be swept away. When Saudi Cast's operators sought equipment to clean up the foundry sand spilled on the floor, they selected the VAC-U-MAX Model 1020 -- available from Vac-U-Max.
The VAC-U-MAX Model 1020 features a powerful positive displacement pump designed specifically for high volume recovery (up to 6 tons per hour). It is also used in the recovery of heavy materials including steel shot, foundry sand, metal powders, sludges and other materials of similar nature. It is available in either 10 or 15 horsepower and its continuous duty vacuum producer makes this vacuum able to meet even the toughest challenge. It's even tough enough for Saudi Cast's maintenance problems, a maintenance task that took hours to complete using shovels and numerous laborers has been cut to just a few minutes of clean-up time.
